It is no secret that the economic slowdown has had a drastically negative economic impact on our beautiful town and there are many people in need. There are wonderful opportunities to help children, animals, the needy and make our city a better, kinder place. Asociación Down

Autism02 is the only non-profit organization in Puerto Vallarta dedicated to helping families improve the lives of their children using the Defeat Autism Now (DAN!) protocol. Autism is not the incurable disease of the past. It is curable when treated early, properly, and effectively. Becas Vallarta provides scholarships to over 300 high school and university students, who have limited resources and high scholastic achievement, and who attend public high school and university in Vallarta. Casa Hogar

Centro Comunitario SETAC-GLBT Puerto Vallarta
The purpose of the Puerto Vallarta Gay, Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Community Center, located at Constitucion #427 on the corner of Manuel Dieguez, is to provide essential services to the GLBT community, including support in recovery from alcoholism and other afflictions, physical and mental health treatment and referrals, education and recreation in an atmosphere of safety, free from discrimination. Clinica de Rehabilitacion Santa Barbara

Cruz Roja (Red Cross)
The Red Cross handles hospital and emergency service in Vallarta. It is the only facility that is authorized to offer assistance to injured people on the street, transport them to their facility or other ones indicated by the injured person. Democrats Abroad Mexico - Costa Banderas Chapter

Originally founded in 1998 as Feed the Children Vallarta, our mission is to educate the poor children of Puerto Vallarta in the skills necessary to rise above poverty.
